Komorebi Dress
This pattern is in English
The Komorebi Dress is a v-neck sleeveless dress, which is knitted top down. The dress has a straight fit without tapering in at the waist. The top part of the back piece is knitted first, with a few cm seed stitch before stitches are picked up on each side to create the shoulder and neckline. Eventually the stitches on the front and back pieces are joined together and the body is knitted in the round on the same needles using stockinette stitch. Finally, the rib edge is knitted on two separate pairs of needles to create the split on the sides. There are links at the end of the pattern to recommended videos.
Knit a gauge swatch before starting to ensure the gauge is correct. The dress should have a “positive ease” of around 5-10 cm.
